Hard at work making a sidewalk off the side patio. Jeff and his daughter lay concret for the new walkway. His Daughter is a really hard worker as she trims the grass an bushes to size. I really don't know how far I would have been without the help of my friends.

This is my friend Jeff. He works hard everyday painting and sealing pavement, then he comes out with me and helps me with Graceland. He helps with the ideas on making steps for Miniature Graceland.

I never was an Elvis fan but, growing up as a young boy I would hear about him all the time.

It has been a lot of fun making this come back to life. I have had a lot of visitors since I started. I started this out of love for my mother and my father, who loved Elvis. What my daddy created was really beautiful, It had a lot of heart put into it. Then over the years it became to much for them to keep up. The winter of 2003 a tree fill on top of the site. It really want down hill from there. Till One day I was out at Happy's Flea Market and ran across a chain saw in the summer of 2006 but,Where I live, I didn't need a chain saw. But I bought it anyways because I new the city of Roanoke wouldn't cut the tree away even though it was on city property. So I brought it to my mothers house and cut that tree out of there. It took me five weeks just to clean up the yard!
"When I was done, I said, 'Come out here, momma. I want to show you something.' And she actually come out into the yard, which she hadn't done in a long, long time. And she teared up and started crying'. And I said, "Momma, what's wrong?' And she said, 'I thought I would never see that with my eyes again.' And it was from that moment that I knew I was gonna have to do something about it."She didn't think I would stay with it. She thought it would overwhelm me. And of course, I won't lie about it, there's been days that it HAS overwhelmed me. But I'm kind of pigheaded. When I start something, I finish it." So I started to make a plan to rebuild the site using a little money from each pay check. I wont say that i did it all myself I had some help from my son David and Brian my brother and fan's who have help in some Donations.
